Was told today that a player was attacked and involved in altercation after Saturdays game in the corner house and came off worse....also a member of the coaching staff also got attacked....
No names were mentioned.....anybody know anything about this or even if its true??

Hopefully he was just trying to stop some sort of bust up and just got caught in the middle of it all couldn’t imagine a proper Widnes fan would try and fight the coach ( unless it’s Francis Cummings) probs just the typical nob head who only comes to a game every blue moon. I don't know the story.....as in the original post I didn't even know if it was true....however as it's came to light today everything I got told has been true so can only assume JJ being the player and the attackers being from a certain local community also being true aswell....
We have to hope firstly that Coleman and JJ are not badly injured and quickly recover full health; secondly that the Police thoroughly investigate the incident and, if justified, the miscreants are prosecuted and jailed.
The above Journalist has read the opening post on here and gone digging for info*. Fans need to be careful what they are posting on SM, as these Grifters are all over everything as it's a lazy route for them to take.
