Widnes Vikings are pleased to reveal our newest addition ahead of the 2025 season, as Cameron Brown arrives at the DCBL Stadium from Cornwall.
Brown, 24, joined the South Coast club ahead of the 2023 season and has starred for ‘the Choughs’ in League One. The Australian operates primarily as a fullback or halfback and has made 37 appearances, scoring 27 tries over the last two seasons.
On signing for the Vikings, Brown said: “I can’t wait to come in and see what I can offer to the team. They had a great year in 2024 and the way Allan spoke to me, the club is heading in the right direction. There’s a lot to be excited about in the near future.
“I’ve heard great things about Widnes and when they got in contact with me, I was stoked about the opportunity to represent the club and play at a higher level.
“I’ve always been a player to back myself and play what’s in front of me so hopefully I can bring a bit of spark to the team.
A highlights package isn’t a way to judge a player, but his highlights look very good! Looks quick and exciting.
