Significant amount of haven fans seem to think it's true ...can get banned anything from 3 months up to two years dependant on when he returned a failed test ...during season he'll get two years ..out of competition test can be three months which would be our best case scenario as ban begins at start of when he stopped playing and that was few weeks ago ...but like others have said hopefully it's not true or he can contest and prove it to be wrong ...
No matter what he gets if it's true it isn't a good deal for a club looking to attract youngsters into the club, particularly as players.
Get the truth first, then make a decision, but steer clear if there's any doubt. It would be a good idea to check his Aussie record in the mean time.
Aussie clubs don't generally pass up a player with pace.
completely agree ..I know alot of their fans are cheesed off to say the least . while haven have been very transparent in a lot of ways recently their fans are annoyed that theirs nothing been said regarding maizen ...I'm assuming that's purely as it's a legal processNo matter what he gets if it's true it isn't a good deal for a club looking to attract youngsters into the club, particularly as players.

Flippin' eck.
Maizen has left the UK for Australia, and won't be here next year.
Let's just say the rumours were true.

Gutted. He was the strike centre/fullback player we needed for next year.
don’t think this Romeo is on the same level
Don't want to be too harsh on Romeo ...but it's a bit like having tickets to fly to Dubai ....and ending up in Bradford....
Yeah, but we've been here before with Butt, etc.

I’ve seen he’s back in Aus but how’d you know the rumours are true about the fail?
@halfback-ragnarsson to be fair unlike others I was happy with the signing of butt as he was a proven try scorer at champ level at a lower level team. Remembered seeing his name on the scoresheets weekly
Didnt know how good his returns from kicks were
Sorry Scouse, I didn't aim that comment at you, apologies.
I think we are beyond signing "names" and want players with potential who will fit into our way of playing. Someone else mentioned Moneyball, great film, and I agree with that approach.
With Brooke leaving, we are probably a winger and a centre short now, with Romeo the advantage is he can also play fullback. I saw a clip of him playing in Australia, tell you what he can shift.
