Does anyone know what Lawton actually did to get his ban?
I listened to the game on the radio, and just can't remember anything siad on this subject by the commentators.
Adam generally isn't a "naughty" player.
I've watched the game a couple of times but cant recall anything as well Sunny. Was something put on report!!!
I watched a clip of the incident and it did not look too bad to me. He just tried to tackle and must have just landed awkward the other player. Adam is a nice lad and would not do anything intentionally bad on purpose.
I think this will work, Lawton uses his leg to drag the player down and injures him.

Its a hip drop tackle, puts a lot of pressure on the ball carriers knee joint with high risk of injury. May not have been on purpose but a 3 game ban is fair having seen it.

I take the point that some penalty is probably justified - but 3 games still seems excessive to me.
It looks as though he’s fell funny and hurt the other players knee but 3 game ban does seem a lot
