Not really, Bradford have a big set of forwards, so keeping it tight up the middle would suit them, especially if any of our first choice forwards are injured.
Plus, our backs are playing well now and a wider pitch will suit them.
I suppose the advantage to Bradford is that they can play and train on the pitch and be used to the dimensions. I can’t get worked up about that given we play on an artificial surface at home against teams who mostly play on grass.
If we can beat London & Sheffield at home it will take some pressure off us as that would be 4 championship wins on the trot. If we can keep injury free at Featherstone, & that is a big if & we reproduce the form of the last 2 games it is achievable. Get any injuries to any props or key backs & we will struggle. It is for that reason this game against Featherstone is one we could have done without. After all it was the Challenge cup 3 games that led to our injuries before the Championship slip ups at Batley & home to Dewsbury. If we get injuries again with our small squad that could happen again.
To many "if's and but's" in that comment. Just hope we come out without any injured players.
