We’ve signed him from Huddersfield for the rest of the season. a prop forward, but according to Wikipedia he’s only played 15 matches in 4 years, and none for the last 2 years.

Wikipedia is often inaccurate re player stats.  A more reliable career summary can be found here https://stats.rugbyleaguerecords.com/playersummary.php?tselect=7280

I think i read he has played a lot of games at Championship clubs. Suppose we can say the same with Will Roberts, and if chances do not occur at Super League there is an opportunity part time. He is on the books at Huddersfield but come through the Wigan Academy. Possibly an opportunity to see if good enough to be a Championship player and lives this side so easier to travel to Widnes? Kirk and Rambo lived in Yorkshire and i think long travel does not work.

For the semi professional players who work full time jobs traveling for training can be hard if getting home at 10-11pm and then getting up for work in the morning so I can understand it not working out for Yorkshire based players
