Perhaps edge at 6 with Taylor and Jack in centres ?
where is junior - it’s been ages since he played, saw him at our home (Wigan) game and he looked fit as a fiddle

but again no update from club

Where’s this thing of edge playing 6 come from? You’d be better sticking Owens there and keep edge centre where he does most of his damage

@scouseviking55 agree, Edge has never been a stand off. Full back converted to a centre. I see him as a back rower later in his career like Westwood or Ellis.

After Warringtons performance last night I cant see Hayes playing for them next week. Attack was absolutely terrible against a rubbish Hull side.

What’s your line up then ?

if you play edge in the centre he needs to get the ball from the stand-off

I’d like to see Frank Sergent come into the side with perhaps Owens going to standoff… back line of Butt & Sergent wings, Edge and Taylor in centres (give Ince a rest).

We shall see tomorrow…

By the looks of that squad it's screaming Owens is playing 6...the only gripe I have with that is we've recently gone from in very good form and good shape with a 6 that's happy to carry to the line with the risk of getting whacked for a late offload ...to jack that won't take the ball to the line even as a centre for the fear of getting whacked .

As we are past the halfway point of the regular season would like to see Sergent a run out to see what he can do.

suspect next week will be our strongest team selected

I would like to see Sergent play as well as sounds like potentially an exciting player. Only problem is Ince and Butt don't need a rest as they have just had one. Could play vs Doncaster with the short turn around for a Wednesday game. I think we should pick him vs some of the League 1 sides, especially Crusaders as all their decent players have moved on. I would have played him vs Salford to be honest.
