Joe Lyons was treated just as badly by the previous Coach but reacted differently and is now benefitting from it. Ince made his decision and has to live with it - That's Life!

Let's just settle one thing, just because he wasn't selected for a game doesn't mean he was treated badly.  Amongst the great wingers we've had at this club with respect I don't think Ryan Ince was one that demanded he should play every game.  Likewise Joe Lyons although it appears he took the news better.

Ince made his decision to leave the club, he needs to back his judgement.  He looked more than capable of playing Championship rugby so only he knows why he isn't getting a game at Leigh.  It seems from the outside looking in he leaves when the going gets tough.

Many players haven't been selected for games over the years and you know what you need to do?  Work harder.

I’d stick with the wingers we have now (given we also have some cover in Hatton and Buckley) and spend any spare cash on strengthening the forwards. Nothing to do with what happened between Ince and the club in the past but simply don’t think wing is a priority position for signings.

Yep we have got to be hard headed with our limited resources, are we short of wingers, not particularly, are we short of big forwards, definitely. Nothing against Ince, just that our priorities lie elsewhere!

Cross along with Baker looks the find of the season.  Genuine pace that we have been lacking. He was released by Saints and was playing amateur for Blackbrook when Rochdale offered him a trial. Johnson also looks good and quick. Hatton who was last year's first choice can't get in the side at the moment and we also have Buckley.  Ince is a decent player but the simple fact is we are on a budget and don't need him.

After 2 big props my next signing would be a big experienced centre.  The 3 lads we have at the moment are doing a decent job but are all young and someone proven and with a bit of size and experience would be good. Mick Nanyn, Toa Kohe Love someone of that standard if we can get them. Leigh have Junior Sau and Thornley, both ex Superleague for example.

If you want to see someone who battled on despite a previous coach not wanting him, just look at Danny Craven.  He was loaned out, told he could look elsewhere yet he persevered and is now seen as a crucial member of the squad.

Ince walked out.  He is not first choice at Leigh so not sure why we would want him back.

Wing cover is not a priority at present. Funds should go on a good prop/s. Nothing against the lad but we have moved on.

We don’t need a winger, simple as that really. We have two good lads who have made a great start to the season. Ince wasn’t happy here and now isn’t happy at Leigh. Common denominator seems to be him, so perhaps he needs to wind his expectations down?

We need props. Anything else is a distraction!

Sheen's has said wants a few forwards, so I think any money spare should be for 2 props. If will play for free then I would have Ince, but I feel we have 2 decent wingers already.

I would have thought Gary Wheeler would be a much more interesting target, use him to play in the centres.

If they have released him to free up space on the SC he's probably out of our league money wise but he's a local lad and a handful when he gets going

Would be a good addition if we could get him

With the NRL just starting this weekend there maybe some 'left over' players as teams get their squads sorted. Being PT doesn't help even with second/third tier Aussies unless he can be offered a job to make up his money.
