And 'Fax are getting no funding, which begs the question, as they started the season, have they already had it, and it's gone to HMRC?

Halifax's will of had to go towards paying its creditors (if any is left). I mentioned before they will be up against it this year as no money from sponsorship, season ticket sales etc. You cant ask people to pay twice, so that money is lost.

Be interesting to know how much the Champ clubs get and if its paid in installments or up front

I've been told that Central Funding is paid over 12 equal monthly payments. Clubs can ask for advances if in the mire, Halifax may have done so but I’ve no specific knowledge. My view (which counts for nothing), I'd be loathe to give them money up front, especially after the Salford fiasco, last year. If a Club folds, then comes back, as have Halifax, then surely the RFL have done due diligence on the new owners, and that they have the finances to continue. But this is the RFL we are talking about.

I hope 'Fax get their show on the road, and I look forward to visiting the Shay for many more years to come.

I don’t think fax we’re necessarily in the crunchie finance wise - it was a historic debt from HMRC that they clearly couldn’t come to an agreement on and HMRC decided to put the middle finger up and liquidate rather than come to an agreement which I can imagine are what fax hoped for.

they did have the begging bowl out about 2 seasons ago towards the end of the year but I thought that had been and gone as they hadn’t asked for fans to fund them last season
