We seem to have swapped Levy for Martin Reilly as our honorary sick note. Quite probably we signed him early, before the injury assessment, to be sure of a new prop! Can't complain as many of us were pleading for such a signing!!!
Wonder if Dudson might be persuaded to keep fit with us in case Wire hit injury probs!? It would probably on a short term loan basis.

The consensus from previous threads is that the asst. coach is staying and we are recruiting a second asst. coach.

London have just scrapped their academy because it doesn't tick any IMG boxes. Which is ridiculous as it should tick IMG boxes.
We previously had a category 1 academy. I think it was a mistake to bin that as it did produce Super League players both for ourselves and ultimately other clubs. I believe the RFL were withholding funding and probably indicating they would not fund in the future. However I think its bad that it was scrapped. That leaves only 3 category 1 Academies this side of the Pennines. That isn't a good pathway to feed 5 Super League Clubs, 2 Championship Clubs excluding Cumbria and 3 league 1 clubs.
A partnership with Cronton will be a Category 3 Academy which effectively shouldn't cost the Club anything apart from kit coaching time. At the moment young players are being lost to the game too early. If it keeps them playing it could produce players for us. Players stopping at 16-18 for sure its too early to tell for many. Its worth doing in any case.
