Under Kear he never really got the ball, so was hard to judge him, but he never set the world alight.
But, they’ll be a reason why Wigan are sending him to another club and suspect it won’t reflect well on Widnes.
In desperate need for some communication from the board just to tell us what’s going on
Exactly. Never really got the ball. But that wasn't just because of Kear's tactics. It has been noticeable all season for those with eyes to see that Fozard has a bias towards passing to the left. So Eckersley being a right centre saw even less of the ball than the left centre. A more awake coach would have noticed and switched the very promising Eckersley to left centre. Watch tomorrow how the same thing occurs (unless Fozzer is reading this...).

If Wigan suspected there was a problem at Widnes which caused them to re-call Eckersley, why would they immediately loan us another player?
They should have let us have both players then told Forber to give Eckersley as much of the ball as possible.
You're saying what Wigan should do with their own player just to please fans of the club he is loaned to,and coach the team as well ?They should have let us have both players then told Forber to give Eckersley as much of the ball as possible.
Looks like Eckersley was the problem, is that his 7th loss in a row?…
only joking happy clappers don’t cry
