Devil's advocate (only a theory)

Only a theory but been watching this play out over the season and starting to feel that maybe this has been deep rooted longer than we think...can't help but think Finney jumped ship as he saw this coming ..alot of people think for good reason he played a bigger role in the last administration n did a runner before the s#it hit the fan.... Hamilton has been known for basically keeping Oldhams head above water over a long period and he's been brought in for that very reason..that the clubs in dire straits yet again ..quite possibly he's relayed to the players the current status quo and that cloths gonna be cut within the playing squad ..and that's quite possibly what's affected performance which has coincided with his appointment....just a theory but is kinda making sense which hopefully the club will totally dispel if they ever feel the need to actually say something....

@mckviking  I tend to agree there - we are 3 players down their salaries not been used for other players and we may be releasing another attendances on the slide and no word from the club

Finney didn’t jump ship.

Was it a coincidence another senior member of staff was brought in during the end of Finney’s days and then left when Finney had left the club? No.

@viking25 who was it that left ?  I fear we are witnessing the death of our once great club.

@hans-moleman He didn’t really leave, but Steve Roberts’ role changed once Finney had left the club.

Finney didn't jump ship, he was allowed to hand his resignation in.

Part of the reason behind him going caused a drop in this years playing budget.

No bad thing. You could do your Big Shop in Murdishaw Aldi before home games, and the Queen of Hearts pub is better than Leggies!
