I’d reckon IF and it is a fairly big IF the season resumes in a few months time the challenge cup will get played given it is already at the last 16 stage. They would have to tinker with the league structure anyway. Finishing the full fixture list for the leagues is a pipe dream.
You are probably right that this season will be written-off, with suggestions that the current measures may be in place for 18 months. If this is the case, next season will also be in doubt, particularly with some clubs going out of business with the loss of revenue. Presumably, player contracts run to the end of November and clubs will not be able to offer (or afford) new contracts if the 2021 season is in doubt.
Sky may well seek to have SL games played behind closed doors provided players are available, which could help some SL clubs other than Catalan. I guess most if not all TWP players are currently UK based. If the Sky funding is withdrawn due to lack of games, SL clubs will also be in trouble.

Of course it depends how long this crisis lasts for, but if we start playing again in say July/august, we would probably have enough time to just play each club once instead of twice and cancel the 1885 cup, and play the remaining challenge cup games in midweek, apart from the final.
The only analogy is to the season of 63 ? I suspect, smelly will probably correct me on this one, widnes played a lot of their matches and other teams used lower house lane ground as Widnes had a chemical from ICI that broke the frozen ground
at the end of the frozen spell all the grass had been killed on the pitch
not sure what other clubs did and the backlog
realistically the season will not restart before first week in May at best which leaves 7 rounds to catch up
surely it would be better to restart with a compressed season each team plays each other once plus 5 random fixtures a la SL to give 16 games, midweek a poss
cc to continue and maybe a space for 1895 but that was midweek last year so fixtures would pile up
hopefully on restart crowds would be good as people would be starved of live sport
