Is Hulme's reappearance also a nod to the fact we are unlikely to see Tomkins?
Hulme I thought looked decent and was a bit surprised when he wasn't kept on, at least as a squad player.

At least the club have done something to provide cover at hooker. Lewis Else has played well and not let us down in that position.
I thought that Finnegan said he hoped to have Tomkins back this season, but there must be a stage when there is no point, as he will need a few games to get match fit. Perhaps we can offer him on loan to Warrington!!!

It's probably more of a nod to the fact that the lad who we've had playing hooker most weeks got recalled by Wigan...
But was he recalled to Wigan because they had a load of players involved in the all stars game? Or are they going to play him in the 1st team for the rest of the season after how impressive he's been for us, especially Featherstone away. When a team recall a player does it have to be for 4 weeks or 2?
They can recall him and then send him back out on loan the week after if they wish.
I'd be surprised if O'Neill plays for us again. I think if Wigan do decide to loan him out, they'd prefer to get him to a SL club now; there's every chance he'll end up being in their first team next season.
