Ex Widnes forward Bill Ramsey passed away yesterday. A great ball handling player and a tough old nut to boot.

One of the old school "tough as nails" forwards. I thought he was with us longer. Great player though.

We signed a couple of old headed Yorkies in that era, both past their best but invaluable with an otherwise youngish pack. More or less what we could use now!

I think he was at a club dinner only a couple of years ago, wasn' t he?
Bill was on the losing side at Wembley a few times I believe, damned scant reward for his talent. RIP Bill.
