Does anyone know if they are going to allow away fans at the Oldham game next week?

They are still awaiting guidance from the local council.

United Kingdom average daily case rate 22.5 per 100,000

Oldham average is 19.4

It's not zero risk, but it is a pretty low infection rate when you consider that many areas including Halton peaked at over 1000 (50-60 times the current rate in Oldham) and most of our fans will have had at least one vaccine.

Would be good if people could say where they are getting the figures from - no offence intended but there are some members of the board who, when agitated or excited, are prone to passing stuff off as fact that isn’t really.

According to Halton website, there was 14 Covid cases in 100,000 people . And according to the Oldham council website there have been 18 cases, per 100,000 people, down from 26 the previous week.

So not really an awful lot of difference between Halton and Oldham really.

Glynn. even if your figures are right it is something of a stretch to use the phrase "high risk".

Yeah, there's twice as many people in Oldham currently have the virus.
