Fev v Bradford '73

Great inventive play by Fev that day. Stevie Nash - what a tricky so-and-so he was!

Those guys were so tough, every tackle there was a niggle or a punch😀Especially that Brian Hogan😅

Good on the BBC for restoring the footage, made it look like a modern game rather than creaky.

I can’t believe out of the 10 “classic” cup finals the BBC have shown, none of them featured the Cup Kings Widnes, not even only the second ever draw at Wembley when we played Hull, yet Wigan Saints Leeds and Hull have all been on THREE times.

Watched either the 71 or 72 cup final highlights a while back and the niggles where all over the place, in one instance at the PTB a couple of punches got thrown and the ref just turned back and shouted "oi you two cut it out" or something, he the carried on following the game ,both players just stopped and got back in line ..

Some really familiar names in the Fev side and its easy to forget just how good they were in the 70's
