I have sent 3 emails to the pub, attaching a picture of the Swinton webpage saying you can park at the pub for free. Also sent them a copy of the fines notice they asked for. Then they said you can only park there for free if you buy food. Then they said they couldn’t cancel the fine, and to take it up with Swinton or appeal to the parking company.

I'll ask the question again mate, but................
It might be a day or two before I can, coz I know that the guy(s) I need to speak to are currently involved with the RFL/IMG meeting, so.............
I'll leave it till the weekend, before I contact 'em.
Spelly.
The first game at Station road Spelly did you attend lol.

Missed that one mate! LOL
Still hurts when I go up / down Station Road, recalling that we were shafted by the very people with whom we'd entrusted our beloved club!
As I've said a million times, no fans anywhere were treated worse than we were in '92!
Spelly.
Toulouse come a-calling a week today, and we're (more than) overdue a win.
Not since pipping Barrow on the hooter in Round 3, have we come out on the positive side of the result, so............
Can we put an end to this dismal run on Coronation Day?
It'll be far from easy, coz Olympique are a quality outfit, but...................
We need it, so................
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spelly.
Excellent result for Swinton against Toulouse. Pleased for you Spelly.

Thanks mate! Lions 19-12 Toulouse this aft, and what a win!
We were awesome, and at the end taunted the visitors with "Super League? You're havin' a laugh!" and "We'll see you next season!"
And also, after only one game of the weekend's fixtures completed, there's only one board member in with a chance of a full house on the prediction league!
Bradford at Odsal is our next appointment, and that's tomorrow week!
Spelly.
Fantastic result spelly, nearly fell off my chair when I read it !
Gonna be interesting at Odsal on Sunday!
How fired up will they be after getting stuffed up at CP, and the subsequent sacking of Dunning?
We're bouncing on the back of our best perf of the season, sending Olympique back across la Manche with their tails between their legs.
I just hope we can build on the Toulouse result, and secure another priceless two points, but it won't be easy!
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!
Spelly.
We now have SIXTEEN players unavailable for Sunday due to injury!
I've said many times that with the physical (brutal?) nature of our game, injuries are always gonna come along, but we've really had it tough this term with knocks!
We've brought in some loanees, but even with those guys, we can only name 20 for Odsal, and just a bare 17 are fit enough to pull on the shirt!
Backs against wall without doubt, but we'll give it everything to build on that magic win last week!
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spelly.
Bull 44-38 Lions this aft, and ironically, that's the most we've scored in a game this term, and we lost!
The gamebreaker came after we'd battled back from 26-8 down, to level it at at 26-26, but............
In the first set of six after the re-start, we spilled it, and in no time, it was 44-26, and (seemingly) game over, but......
Throw in the towel we didn't, and two quick tries brought us back within six, with about a minute and a half left.
Then as time ticked down, there followed an odd end to the proceedings, and I confess, I don't know if the ref called it right or wrong, coz..............
They knocked on, we formed the scrum, and he stopped the clock. The hooter went almost immediately, and he blew for time, without the scrum being taken.
It was poss only a couple of seconds in between, but the hooter was defo after he'd stopped the clock. Was he right? As I said, I don't know, but..............
Had the scrum gone ahead, we could've had a kick and chase, and grabbed a draw we (and yes I'm biased, but aren't we all?) deserved!
With sixteen unavailable due to their presence on the treatment table, it was a monumental effort from a patched up team!
Proud to be a Lion!
Nowt for us now till we meet you mob at the Bash on Saturday week!
See you in the Minster City!
