How much longer can this charade go on ?
match postponed because they have not enough players of sufficient ability

chuck them out now before you make an even more mockery of the sport !

For a supposed elite level sport, its a total embarrassment

I was on my way to the Piedome, and my mate at 'Ornits messaged me as to this fiasco!

Not sure what repercussions there'll be, but it's hugely embarrassing for the game I've had a love affair with for over sixty years.

If they're chucked out, I presume it'll be similar to the Cornwall scenario, with all previous results expunged.

It won't keep me awake though.

Reckon it’s been done so they can finish the season and then never to be seen again

This gets even worse - the fraud deducted 2 points for fielding a weakened team back in April !
they reckon they could not get their legal rep available for hearings that were then postponed

kick them out now under their current ownership, they are an embarrassment

The two points deduction means sweet FA, as it affects their standing on the ladder not one jot. Had they been sure to be around next term, I reckon they might have started the campaign on minus two comp points instead, but.......

It's far from certain they'll still be around, so was this the easy (only?) way out?

One thing's for sure, It won't keep me awake!

They couldn't afford the rent at the AJ Bell when they were doing well so, if they do survive, they won't be playing there. I think their other option was Moor Lane where Salford footy team play. They own that ground and want to move to a bigger one, they were talking about using the AJ Bell.

It doesn't look good for Salford tbh, I think they'll go to the wall; which is a shame.

I hate to see any club go to the wall, but salfraud had an advance on the sky money last year (alarm bells ?)

nobody from the rfl or any other organisation gave any advance money to Blackpool when they were struggling - and they would be classed as in a development area ?
2 standards here

RFL have no standards, It is all about look after themselves.

I would like Salford to survive and play in the Championship, but need to sort out their ownership. Wasn't it owned by a fans' group before? The RFL should support a Club like Salford to enable it to survive, They will have a decent fanbase in the Championship.

Maybe they will merge with Swinton, but don't tell Spelly!!!!
