Not General Rugby League but, shock horror, General Rugby Union.

Mike Tindall is the face of R360, a Rugby version of the Indian Premier League in cricket or the LIV in golf. In other words, Gulf money thrown at players to ply their trade in a short-term fantasy league over there.

A lot Union players are distancing themselves from it as their countries have told them they won't be picked for their national sides if they go.

But maybe some League players will be tempted? Giving up Internationals is not quite the same threat for us is it?

Also, I didn't know till this week, Roosters Union convert and top NRL try scorer Mark Nawaqanitawase, who will undoubtedly be a Kangaroo winger in a few weeks, is only playing RL in between RU World Cups. His contract is such he can go back to Union before the next RUWC and play in that.

It's a funny old world (apart from wars and diseases).

Not many League players have made it in Union barring Jason Robinson.
