A very sad day for RL. Rob was a lion heart on the paddock, who never let his small stature get in the way of him being an incredible player who would run the show in many a game. An absolute warrior, who faced MND in the same way he faced an opponent twice his size - head on with no fear. Rest easy Rob.

What a man - a rugby player - a family man - a friend to many - and an ambassador.

Rest in Peace now.

It serves to remind us that they are human beings, stars or not, and they should earn our respect for playing the game.

RIP Rob Burrow.

Terrible news. He was brilliant on the field and brilliant and courageous off the field.
A pity he couldn’t last until the MND centre being built with the money him and Kev raised was opened.

Challenge Cup final kicking off at 3:07 in his honour. A nice solution.
