@sinbad tbf Sinbad, based on the last few years that is a fair point. We lost 5 home league games last year, I think, so I can't argue that point.

Conversely, we are constantly told on this forum that it's not 1989 anymore, so hopefully we can all judge the team on this year's performances, when we manage to play some home games.

@sinbad Don't forget york didn't play there full 1st squad Ata Higano and a few others missing through injury that will be fit when we play them at the end of April

I know it's stating the obvious, but Sunday shows even more the value of a home tie in the play offs. I'd fancy us against anyone on our own pitch.

Not sure about that,Widnes home form has been quite poor for years.Too early to say regards 2025.

Just getting back on topic, it was a really bad day at the office on Sunday. The worst performance under AC that I've seen. Let's hope it's a blip and we can pick up the winning thread over the next few games.

I know it's stating the obvious, but Sunday shows even more the value of a home tie in the play offs. I'd fancy us against anyone of our own pitch, not sure I'd say the same on the other side of the Pennines.

@johnnyboy just worried that if Mel take over all the money will be between the ten clubs and nothing for us !!! Then that's more money to find to stand still I think we would lose a lot of clubs but the big 10 don't seem bothered about that lol 😂

Love RL pushing the NRL taking 33% stake in SL and cutting the numbers.

If that happens it will defo be a closed shop like down under and as such we’ll see a lot of clubs become feeders for the chosen few.

I personally wouldn’t mind as long as we keep a competitive comp (for us to play in) rather than feeder clubs.

Who knows with this crazy game….

@cuerdley-viking I was surprised that Salford had lost so little compared to others !! Super league is unsustainable at its current levels maybe they should release players and only run 2 teams and that would strengthen the championship and save sl clubs money
