Said it many times, but it's worth repeating.

Watching Panthers v Storm, and the difference in quality both on and off the park compared to SL, is seismic!

The commentary is slick and professional. The guys on the panel (like Eddie and Stevo were) look the part, being suited and booted, unlike Carney and Co these days who look like they've got dressed in the dark!

And of course the standard of the football itself, is as ever, summat special!

As someone that lives in barrow this fixture is a killer for me ...have family and friends that are barrow fans and the level of brutality is elite either way result wise ...I'm just praying the gaffer puts abdull back in .. forecast isn't great through the week ...they've got an academy game on the pitch Wednesday that'll cut it up so come Friday surface won't be great nor the weather ...but the infamous Tesco end wind is tailor made for his bombs and kicking game.. slightly concerned how the forwards will match up ...diz and jay more than happy with starting up against bullock and walker ...but worrying we may well again go with the Donny front row rotation while they'll have Richard's and makin rotating ...if edge is back that'll be massive as he caused havoc in the same fixture last season....I'd have loved a front row signing or loan prior but let's face it that ain't happening...or if it is it has to be tomorrow as squads are named Wednesday... assuming there's no movement I'm expecting and in some cases hoping we go with ...

Well, it was easier to pick up a bonus point this week than not.

The first clean sweeps in a nine game weekend (two bonus points) went to PaulieWalnuts, Frankg, Martin, Prisoner, and Ceejay1.

One bonus point for eight correct predictions went to geoffw, Farnworth Viking, Halfback Ragnarsson, northstander, steelviking, gpo1971, Mr H, Quincy1, aldos gnome and Pensioner.

Prisoner and Ceejay1 were the week's biggest risers.

Unless it's in cup-tie, or play-off football, when a definitive result is required, golden point is WRONG!

When two teams have knocked seven shades of poo out of each other for eighty minutes, and the scores are level, then the comp points should be shared!

If (unlikely I admit 🤣) it's a draw at the hooter at Donny tomorrow, the game won't be extended, and a draw it'll remain!

Why should it be different for the elite fourteen?

Listening to chairman's interview and us already overspending on what they think the cap would be so we need to save 75k

so next year Hughes Taylor houghton that type of player wouldn't be in squad we would have maybe 22/23 players and then use loan system

have I got that right ?

how do Newcastle go as there actual finances are shot so do York use there own salary cap to prop up Newcastle

Great news that he's signed a two year extension...good business from the club tying down the clubs best young player by a mile ... And although contracts mean very little nowadays and doesn't really stop a SL club from pouncing for him ..it does put the club in a position to demand a fee

On Sunday(22-3-26) our Girls beat Oldham 32-6 to progress to the next rd of the Ladies Challenge Cup.

The win sets up a tie v Wakefield next Sunday at the DIY Kitchens Stadium, or Belle Vue, to us oldies! 2pm KO

If you are in need of your RL fix, why not pop over and cheer the Girls on, as the Men have a bye weekend.
