@geoffw in Kears last 4 games, we lost to teams who were below us in the table and the fan base was in meltdown, so to then say that it's not a big thing to beat the 4 teams we have beaten is unfair in my opinion.

Even if we lost at Halifax, we have still got to play Batley and Sheffield here which could drag us into the mix, plus we have London too. The main downside is we have to go to Fev, but if they have already won the league who knows.

Last year we only got 24 points and finished 8th, so we should be aiming to improve on that as a minimum.

On the plus side, it is still within our own hands whereas every other year since we’ve been back in this league the season has been well and truly over with all games dead runners by this point.

Got to beat York in a fortnight, then a 4 pointer at Halifax, the following week. But looking at results in our division this season, anything could happen.

Not the best results today, Fax, Bradford and London all won. Fax beating Featherstone to go back into 6th place especially. But Batley and Sheffield both lost so now only 4 points between 3rd and 8th place in the league!

the fax game is massive and should be on viaplay butvtheybdecided their games months ago

lets concentrate on the York game - must win

but great to see us playing with a free flowing style

@widnes77 To be fair apart from Bradford our opposition since Kear left has not been the strongest. The next 3 games especially Halifax away will be a better indication as to where we are.

This is not a criticism as you can only play what is in front of you & our performances have 100% improved since Kear left with much better entertaining rugby being played.

It is a pity we had that bad run as I cannot see us making the top 6 as we have left ourselves too much to do I think. Having said that Sheffield lost at Whitehaven today so we are not alone in losing there.

There's always seems to be a bounce when a coach is replaced, but the turnaround in style of play and results has been surprising, especially considering the the new man in charge was already in the set up.

What the hell was Kear doing? Or not doing?

He definitely lost the dressing room with his dinosaur tactics. We have the players and one man rugby doesn't suit these players bought. 🥖🥖👌 Onwards and upwards and a good chance of the playoffs. 🥖🥖👌🍺🍺
