Unfortunately, most players have a field day against us. On his day he can't tackle a good dinner & and drop everything
If he’s that bad, I’m surprised Leigh signed him in the first place, when they’ve got so many good players. He’s got quite a good try scoring record, 127 from 180 games
Maybe we should stop using our outside backs to take the ball up the middle 3 times a set.. Is it any wonder they are battered and bruised.
The majority of teams do this.
I seem to remember it being one of our very successful attacking options when we had Blanch and Gaskell on the wings and Grix at fullback......always seemed to put us on the front foot and get some momentum.
Unfortunately current players not in the same class as these 3.
For me, using our backs to take it in against a set defence is just stupid. It's fine if we are attacking a disjointed defence or we get a very quick ptb.
I think he’ll do a job for us and will hopefully push the current backs in the squad to step it up as I believe like the whole squad we are under performing
everyone knows where we are at and that we can’t afford too players with big salary but we need to be aiming to get the best out of the players we have and finnegan isn’t doing that
I think it’s in the halves we need to strengthen - looks like Danny out for a few more games at least

I’d be trying Lyons at 1 and Roby & Smith in the halves. Lyons and Smith have had enough time and it clearly isn’t working.
@viking25 That could be worth a shout. I don’t know Roby’s positional experience other than fullback.

Whilst I feel fozzard is going well at hooker, albeit we could do with an interchange hooker, would it be worth giving him a go in the halves - he has played there before I think. Also we have hulme as a back up hooker
He’s not playing!! He’s got a groin injury and won’t play for us in the two week loan period. You could not write this stuff😂😂😂
