Best position for me is FB and Owens will play there presumably. He could play on the wing but rather concentrate £££ on the Front Row now, especially if the rumoured signings of Holroyd and Ince happen, in addition to Fleming.

Can’t really see us signing him with Owens firmly nailed on to be our starting fullback and Brad Holroyd who can do a job there rumoured to have signed as well. He will be a very good player in the Championship though if that’s where he ends up.

He seems to have appeared quite regularly for Huddersfield but sod's law you just know that once he signs for Widnes the injury jinx will return.
Like the Inu thread - best spend what money we have in other areas. ‘Nice to have’ rather than actually being needed.
Nothing against the lad, but simply not a position I would see as needing filled.
Would he start before JO , I don't think he would so despite being a decent player its one we should pass on . As others have said we need to concentrate on recruitment props foremost.

Tolouse have a really good French international full back. He could go to Newcastle though as he's full time and they are going full time next season. Could also go to Leigh as quite a few of their players are leaving, Brierley has just signed for Salford.
For me Owens is our full back, the only other position he could play is wing but he's not a specialist winger, so I wouldn't sign him.
