Rumours again about SL increasing from 12 clubs to 14. I don't see the point personally. There's 12 clubs now and Cas, Hudds and Salford can't compete. They're absolutely useless. There's only really 6 or 7 good teams, a couple more that are better than the basket cases, and then the basket cases themselves. What's the point of diluting the playing pool even further? I watched a couple of games this past weekend that were crap.

What a farce - they basically lied about their financial liability and were found out, they get an advance on the funding and are still short

new takeover still not paying wages, how much more to come €?
problem is the sl/rfl cannot boot them out as that leaves a fixture blank for the clubs

if it were me I would boot them out and expunge their results, of course that leaves the way for bradfraud to come in with their tiny pitch and a ratedcfacilities

It was said at the meeting about grading we had at Widnes, that they only checked about 1/4 of the clubs submissions, so there’s a good chance you won’t get caught out by lying.

Sounds like a load of crap,to me.

On the face of it they can only afford overseas players by going into large debt, so why keep doing it? The philosophy only works as long as someone else pays the piper. Our top clubs have willing donors atm, but times can change!!!!

It is noticeable that no clubs will openly talk about reducing the off-field personnel!!!!

I would guess that Bradfud will be in line to take promotion, accompanied by a lovely architect's impression of their re-modelled Odsal with five hundred media car places giving access to the air conditioned indoor media vantage suite.

They could also maintain that the mini-pitch should remain as it intensifies the game!!!!

I am joking, but anything is possible!!!!

I was reading that Mat Peat wants the RL to increase the Salary Cap. He said our good players will be bought by Australian clubs, and we won’t be able to afford to buy overseas players.

Going against what quite a few people are saying on here, that most of our clubs can’t afford overseas players.

Sorry FV, a little confused by that post - so can clubs afford overseas players or not ?
