Nearest airport is Newquay on the North coast. Train from Warrington takes over 7 hours and driving about the same.

Spectators can make it part of a weekend break but for part-time players with a job it’s not as big an ask as Toronto or Toulouse, but still a long way to go to play.

Even if you flew to Newquay, its not that easy to get to from there.

It may only be 23 miles away from the Airport, but it takes over an hour on the bus, and over 2 hours on the train, as there is no direct trains to Falmouth.

Absolute joke.I assume the RL have consulted with the division three clubs over this decision ? I'll give it two years at best.

They have been building the game well down there, got it being played in primary and secondary schools, got a grant for part funding a stadium, plenty of RU players to convert...good luck to them ...

Exactly. This is York City Knights catchment area, surely. The RFL should be stopping any new clubs (or relocating clubs) start up within a 20 mile radius of an existing club, IMO. Paulie xx
