I guess the concept has always been the 6 is more of a runner and the 7 is more of an organiser and play-maker.

I couldn't see Harry Smith playing 6 but I could see Mikey Lewis playing 7. If you know what I mean.

I guess like a few positions, lines are blurred (centre and 2nd row for one).

The Aussies also seem to have a few frustrated 6s at full-back occasionally as well.

NZ Warrior scrum half wants to leave because he is currently playing 6 and wants to play 7. I think in the UK the roles are pretty interchangeable these days but different Aus. 

intrigued to understand how a stand off can’t play scrum half.
