The constitution of the country is very clear, we do not elect a leader, we elect MP's to represent our constituency, the PM , traditionally appointed by the monarch was the one who commanded the greatest respect across the house

There is nothing to say the Government has to be formed only by members of the largest party or affiliation , any MP from any party or independent can be part of the Government if appointed. If those parties that run on manifestos stuck to their promises then there would be no issue with changing the PM as it should be a seamless transition but this country is in the mess it is in because of the legislations and policies implemented that were not in any manifestos, not voted for and against the wishes of the vast majority of the population.

Our Governments seem to have forgotten that they are elected to Govern, not to rule or impose their narrowminded ideologies on the population, Brexit is the perfect example, it doesnt matter if you agree with it or not, the public voted to leave the EU yet for 10 years half of elected MP's have fought tooth and nail to sabotage it and reverse the decision so who do they represent ?, certainly not the people of the UK.

There isnt an issue that this country faces that isnt as a direct result of Government policies that were never in any "manifesto" or as a result of countless failed policies that they imposed against the majority will.

Another disappointing game between two of the top teams in the division.

This time it was Leeds and Hull KR game that failed to live up the hype, which I believe is all it is these days, as so many matches fail to deliver.

How on earth can the Sport hope to attract any new supporters/viewers when the product on show is distinctly average with no excitement or entertainment value.

Again, I suggest that the league set up needs to go back a more simplified first past the post system, with the team who finishes top as Champions. Then, have a separate play off system amongst the top eight, to determine the Premiership winners !

And wouldn't that help Make Wembley Great Again?!!!

@prisoner To be fair, to a degree I agree with you, but last night the Ref was 'unplayable'. At least 3 Oldham knock-ons were allowed to play on. It got that bad I saw TG mouth to Coleman that the Ref was 'a joke'. I speak to Tom regularly, and he never criticises the Officials. So make of that what you will. Take away the two dubious tries, and the extra field position they were afforded, the game would have been more of a contest. Which is a shame. Well done Oldham, roll on Wednesday.

We have not been able to play the game for a long time. Every other team stays down after foul play resulting in a Firstly a penalty then consultation about a card. The rules are there for both teams yet for years we never use them. School boy coaching equates to schoolboy on field behaviour. We don't even wriggle in the tackle so the ref allows lying on. We have needed to wise up for a long time but we have not. Stop blaming the ref it's down to coaching. Every other team plays the ref but we haven't a clue how to.

agree there - the owners of all 3 promoted teams knew before they went up what the terms were - if not acceptable turn the offer down

York have been playing the system with regard to non dom players - they have the max registered with them and the same with Newcastle, and make loans when it suits - the rfl are closing this loophole next season

Interesting to see all 3 promoted teams are in the bottom 4 with the ever present cellar dwellers shuddersfield

it will be very interesting to see who makes way for London ( even if London don’t really make it in the IMG gradings)

@owl No argument from me on this.

Overall the Referee and his TJs completely ruined the game. On the first tackle we had, the Oldham player should have at least got a 'Yellow', and he may have, if we all hadn't ran in causing a melee. We have to be more disciplined in those situations and let the Ref sort it. We lost out as he deemed pulling the Captains for a chat sufficient. I don't think I've seen so many 'knock-ons' unpunished. Coleman was absolutely raging on the bench, and rightly so. A bad night at the office, Oldham did a job on us, fair play to them.

Paulie xx

The running in,which Widnes do all too frequently,. Your right the ref is then dealing with that and the original situation gets forgotten. The TJ should be watching the situation after the ball has gone and if the ref missed the incident then at least one TJ should have seen it. We always seem to get on the wrong side of refs ......wonder why?...well notice Oldham sent only one player up to dispute any call......is this is the coaching at fault here?
