With the new Super League season now underway, the media’s predictions for the year have been released.
Matt Horton, who runs the Media Tipping Competition which comprises of 75 members of the media, has shared the aggregated predictions for Super League and the Championship.
All entrants were asked to provide their 1-14 for Super League and then their top 10 for the Championship, with the predictions then collated to create the combined tables.
In the Championship, all 19 teams received a selection from someone to finish in the top 10.
It’s no surprise that London Broncos have come in top, with the media predicting that Oldham will finish in second.
Next in line is Widnes in third, just above Sheffield and Newcastle.
London and Oldham were also the top two favourites with the bookies leading in to the season.

5 Newcastle
6 Barrow
7 Doncaster
8 Batley
9 Dewsbury
10 North Wales
