Exciting young talent Megan Wall is in line to make her debut as Widnes look to bounce back from defeat
Widnes are back in action following the teams defeat to an experienced Cardiff Demons. The Vikings battled bravely throughout, however come up short, gaining valuable experience playing against the divisions best.
Attention now turns to this Sundays away clash away against Oulton Raidette’s, in what promises to be another entertaining National Championship clash.
Widnes enter the game with a 50% winning record, sitting seventh in the league table. Their victories have come against Salford RLFC, Castleford Tigers and Bradford Bulls.
Meanwhile Oulton sit in 10th position, two places above the relegation zone. The Raidette’s have had a tough start to the league campaign, only picking up one victory so far, which was a 28-0 victory against bottom of the table Castleford Tigers.
Oulton’s five other fixtures have all come against the top five placed teams in the league table, with that said their placing in the table could be a false position due to the tough fixture run at the start of the league campaign.

Head Coach Dom Dean names his 17 player squad to take on Oulton Raidette’s. Exciting Centre Marnie-Lee Kelly misses the action after sustaining an upper arm injury against Cardiff Demons.
Winger Naoimh Gill-Ward and Back-row Codie Slack remain unavailable for selection.
Hooker Lily Wilkinson slots in at Centre where she impressed in pre-season, whilst Rachael Porter covers the other Centre position after a number of stand out performances in the Back-row.
Chloe Richardson returns to her usual Back-row position after featuring off the bench in her first game back after injury against Cardiff.
Vickie Grace is rewarded with a start in the Front-row after impressing during training, whilst Hannah Whitehead, Ellie Reid and Juliet Porter make up a strong interchange bench that will add impact mid game.
